Kevin Woodruff is a singer songwriter from Liverpool, he has been writing songs for over 20 years, playing in various bands through out the 80’s including ‘the slides’ and ‘chapter eight’. Raised on a healthy diet of country and western (hank williams/johnny cash etc) when growing up he came across an LP by a band called The Beatles called ‘Help’ and listening to it changed his life forever. All he wanted to do was play guitar and write songs, influenced by many other songwriters (Paul Weller/Elvis Costello/Lloyd Cole/Noel Gallagher/Lennon/Mccartney/Ryan Adams…..etc) he continues to write punchy power pop anthems today with nods towards his musical hero’s.
