Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I always had a guitar in my hand and a song to sing since age 15. Happy to entertain myself and anyone I could get to listen. Active in country music and nightclub scene since age 21.
I had the opportunity to meet Merle Haggard and speak with him on his tour bus in 1971. He has been one of my major influences along with Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Buck Owens. I enjoy Delta Blues, specifically Robert Johnson and folk music particularly Bob Dylan.i am now living in central washington
