About Gavern

Portrait of Gavern
Gavern
Started experimenting with vocal layering in about 2003. Inspired heavily by musicians like Enya and Delerium. I compose the music mainly with keyboards and synths, adding percussion and guitar when integrating with Logic. I also add strings and effects on Logic. 5 Years ago I never knew where the "C" key was ~ How far I have come :) I layer vocals one track at a time, usually lower keys combined with mid-range and higher keys, the most I've layered so far is about 100 vocals one over another but it is a time consuming effort and requires much patience & ear resist ability that I am sometimes lacking...
I believe music is a spiritual connection to the Universe that moment by moment creates worlds and Galaxies of emotional landscapes that interact with each humans nightly and daily dreams. I also believe that their are other life forms beyond our own that feel the vibrations of our music. Since Music is Mathematics with Spirit, then surely they can feel?
I am still to this day experimenting heavily with vocal layering and trying to create a signature sound that can be used as my original mark, seemingly I have a few years to go, but each week I get closer. I enjoy making music for the Loxians, I hope they can hear me ~ Since what we imagine already exists somewhere in space & time, I would hope they will someday meet up with me and say "Hey, that was a good sound!"
Love Gavern

She Who Listens...

She Who Listens… is a song I’ve dedicated to Brighid, The Patroness of the fair & sweet art. I follow Celtic Spirituality and Brighid is part of their lore. I have since always sensed her presence. She listens… I hear her… “you are loved my child…”, “What are your prayers…” This song is for her. It’s a song about a spiritual minder, someone who watches over you between worlds.

    Thanks for the comment!

I'd refer you to this track per the vocal part of the comment...

I have to say that my next major musical purchase will be one of the EastWest choir instruments. You are reading my mind!

    Cheers,

    Hi Gavern

Just come across your Shetland Seance in Folk channel and absolutely love it - I'm a big fan of Enya too. I hope to listen to more of your material but there are curently no songs showing on your page. I'll come back and check later - interesting thoughts on the medium of music in your bio - I couldn't agree more!

    Best wishes from Scotland

    Hey Graven,

Thanks so much for the comment and voting. The comment was really cool.
I'm listening to "Prophet" now and I'm enjoying every second of it.
Nice track! Keep up the good work. We'll be voting for you. Your're doing really good in Pop.
