Garnett's sound combines the raw fervor of contemporaries of John Legend and the burning precision of D'Angelo.  Born Garnett Harris Boldin Jr. was a child prodigy who grew up in Virginia where he began singing gospel at the tender age of 3 and playing trumpet at eleven. Loving music and singing Garnett has enjoyed performing on- stage at various local hometown events and the legendary Apollo Theater and SOBs. Garnett has opened for many talented people including the great Roy C , Robin Thicke, Roxanne Shante, Michel' le, Rah Digga, SLICK RICK just to name a few.  Garnett writes music and has worked or collaborated with industry artist "Skillz",   "Red Rum" and the late "Kleph Dollarz".  Garnett was recognized by his hometown in 2012 and 2018  for "Best R&B Male Artist" of the year.
