GaKKy is a solo musician from the southside of Chicago. He is a culmination of Bob Gacki, who writes whatever he feels like with no particular genre in mind, and Rutherford Jones, who simultaneously burns Bob’s songs into the fret-board in his own style. GaKKy is inspired by science and the raw power that nature holds. Bob is pursuing a degree in physics and hopes to one day play a role in advancing the human race in the area of space exploration. Rutherford Jones is happy just shredding away all day on his Parker Nitefly. Astronomy and an overall appreciation for the vastness of the universe is what powers the GaKKy engine and keeps it going. He wants everyone to hear his music and be inspired to challenge themselves everyday; after all, we have only one lifetime to accomplish incredible things and explore our universe (multiverse?).

GaKKy is finally done (well, just about) recording “tru3,” his new album. It is actually 2 discs, one is the main album with all of his best songs, and the other is more of a “bonus” disc with songs that didn’t quite make the cut to play on the “A” team.
