Hello, my name is Gabriel Soriano and I was born to play music. It is my passion, my love, my redemption, my strength, and my creation. My goal is to work with a label that cares about releasing quality music and supporting artists to be career musicians, not cheeky one-hit-wonders. Here's some info about me:
As an independent artist I have self-recorded and self-released 3 CD's: "Demo 2005" (my first demo), "Into The Noise" (my first EP), and most recently "The Love Juice Sessions" (my second EP, currently available for free download through my website and myspace, physical copy to be released August of 08). I play all the instruments and sing all the vocals on my albums. I’ve booked and played over 250 shows in the last three years including two self-funded tours. I currently perform as a one man band, using a loop station (BOSS RC-50) that allows me to create live loops of guitar, bass, vocals, percussion, keys, and saxophone into layers of sound. My music can generally be described as blues, funk, jazz, soul, reggae, latin, and rock. I use no backing tracks or CD's of any kind other than a metronome when playing live. I build the song piece by piece in front of the audience, often times pulling people out of the crowd to give them cowbells and shakers and help me build a loop.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have played in many bands in many positions: guitar, drums, bass, vocals, etc... this experience has turned me into a multi-instrumentalist and a singer/songwriter. I love everything from Sinatra to Slayer but my favorite music in the world is blues, funk, soul, and rock. I love to write and play all types of music from metal to jazz. And, in no particular order, my top 5 bands are Pink Floyd, Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, Thrice, and The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Ok that’s six.
I'm currently booking a fall tour to promote "The Love Juice Sessions" that will begin in September and end in December. Dates and locations will be announced August with the pressing of the CD and the release show. If you like what you hear in the player, then you can purchase my CD’s through my website at www.gabesoriano.com or through iTunes. Come by and see me at a show, and if not, then I’ll burn down your house. Just kidding. Kind of.

The American Vagrant Tour 2008, Updated Mixes, Top Ten at Ourstage.com and WestSideWill.com
Hey everyone, It’s 3:48a.m. and like an idiot I waited till the night before my tour begins to send off the last of my press packets. I am burning CD’s right now and I realized I haven’t really told you guys and gals what’s going on with the tour. I am about to embark on my third tour as a solo artist. My first tour with Trevor Zinn, “First Timers Tour” was in March/April of 2007. My second tour was a solo tour called “Path of the Sun Tour” which was in Jan/Feb of 2008. Now my third tour, “American Vagrant Tour” is going through Sept. 2008. I can’t explain how excited I am right now. I feel like it’s Christmas Eve. I feel so grateful that I am able to do this. And I really hope that anybody out there is even ...

For more information about lifestreaming and the services we support, please see the Staump.com FAQ.(Myspace and Facebook services will be available soon! )
OurStage and Staump.com have teamed up to provide more great opportunities to more talented artists every month! On OurStage, artists, fans, & industry professionals all come together – to discover, judge, & enjoy the best new music and the best new artists online.
Tired of having to visit three or four different websites (myspace, facebook, flickr, Youtube) just to check up on a band you like? Staump.com now offers a convienient way for users to check out what artists are up to on all their different websites at one location!
