Urban, Latino music group FORMULA DOS decided to adopt the moniker to reflect their English and Spanish lyrical flow. Aside from the variation in languages FORMULA DOS or F2 are not defined by one style. Growing up listening to different genres of music F2 founding members O-S (Omar Santana) and MR. RO (Rolando Brens) have many musical influences ranging from hip hop, R&B and reggaeton to meringue, salsa, rock and pop. Although O-S and MR. RO have varied musical influences they are mostly inspired by life and the struggles that come along with it.

O-S and MR. RO both hail from the Dominican Republic and represent New York. A writer from childhood O-S began penning hip-hop and R&B songs as well as poetry as a teenager. MR. RO performed with a reggaeton group as a youth while living in Puerto Rico. He was also a member of a meringue house group in New York. MR. RO and O-S met while working out at a local gym in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York. The two joined a fitness-modeling group and through this venture modeled for calendars, print advertisements and fashion runway shows. At the end of the day, however, their true passion is music. This became apparent when the pair had the opportunity to create music for a work out video. They have not looked back since.In 2008 they are looking to expand their horizons and bring their music to the world. F2 have performed at many local venues in the New York tri-state area. The duo is putting the finishing touches on their first album titled, “LA FORMULA.” O-S and MR. RO are in the lab cooking up
their special formula for the masses
