FORMAL ACTION is a band born out of progress. Sonically, their music has slowly crept out from the confines of most reggae-influenced bands. Once a rigid shell of the band they were to become, they now display an innovative mesh of those reggae roots, slow-hand blues, and elements of the psychedelic, a fusion bent on rhythm and a live show sustained by movement and emotion.
