Radhakrishnan has won several prizes in competitions conducted by institutions in India such as Mylapore Fine Arts club, Prayojana trust etc.He has presented flute concerts in All India Radio ,extensively in U.S including New York and California.He has also accompanied several musical presentations including performing at the prestigious Lincoln Center ,New York.Radhakrishan’s style of playing is of the Gayaki bhaani (vocal music style), inspired by the subtle nuances found in the vocal tradition. With transposed fingering and unique blowing techniques he merges flutes of different frequencies/lengths to the tonic note (the adhara shadja) creating deep meditative bass to lofty piccolo sounds.
