Making music that transcends the status quo, New York based artist Fedel is undoubtedly a student of 90’s hip hop. While he has a unique ability to both write and produce his own music, Fedel’s primary passion has always been on the microphone. Citing his brother's untimely death as the motivation to make a career in music his primary goal, Fedel graduated from college and is on the road to making his dream a reality.To this end, he is a frequent performer at several venues throughout New York City including The Bowery Poetry Club, Hot 97’s Monse Sunday Night Showcase, Time Square Arts Center, Sapphire Lounge, First Look Sessions, and the Pyramid Club among others. Fedel has also performed at St. Jonh's University, Illinois State as well as opened for Sony Music recording artists CHIDDY BANG at their DePauw University show. Citing Nas and Mary J. Blige as his biggest influences, Fedel hopes to emulate their ability to create anthems with lyrical content that connects with peoples' everyday struggle.
