FA$E BIOGRAPHY

FA$E was born Chamar Goodwin, in Atlantic City, N.J. and grew up in East New York “Brooklyn”. He was introduced to the music industry at a young age by his father D Skee of Bed Stuy Brooklyn .At the age of 13, he was known as “The Preacher” on stage and FA$E in the streets. Along with Bishop and Prophet they formed a gospel rap group called, “The FCC Rappers” and they put a major dent in gospel rap. They would later land on television spreading their fan base from Brooklyn, NY to Orlando, Fl. They preformed, “Let everything that has Breath, Praise the Lord” in front of thousands of supporting fans. A few years later the group started to split and gospel rap was no longer a dream for the young preacher. FA$E eventually left the cold streets of Brooklyn to see what the world had to offer. That’s when he joined the U.S. Navy. Music had to be put on hold as FA$E had to serve his country by doing a Tour of Duty in Iraq. While in Iraq, he realize life is too short when you’re talking to one person one day and the next day they‘re gone. FA$E could only think about returning home to his wife and kids and seeing his parents again. Due to the lost of his Grandmother, who was a major inspiration in his life by teaching him that, “He has No Limits in Life, Only those that he set for himself”, FA$E was sent back a few weeks early to bury her. Remembering his lessons his Grandmother taught him fueled his passion to make it in the industry. FA$E then hooked up with Money Mitch and J-Staxx who shared the same dream and passion for hip hop. In addition, FA$E has been on three emperors mix tapes and has appeared recently in Heard Magazine out of Athens, G.A which is promoted around the country by Naja Promotions. He was also able to shoot his first video “Don’t Forget Me” in June 08. Now the three are proud owners of GlassCresent Records. With this GlassCresent Team FA$E is making his mark in the industry with solid production, a distinct voice, powerful words , and top notch writing skills along with a mellow swag that appeals to all fans old and young and the looks to fit the image. FA$E is ready to shine as the next Hip-Hop star, are you ready to hear someone new? I hope so cause FA$E is not going to stop till he gets to the top!
