Rico is non-stop, after sowing his oats he keeps rolling out his swift and solid Drum beats that reflect his snap to the music. Steve Davis is smooth, one of the original FARMERS, pumping out those powerful Rock N' Bass lines and Vocal Harmonies, he'll also sing a song or two, portraying some crazy situation he's been through. Cory Lombardelli blends his Guitar to the mood of the music, he'll play melodic or edgy and bold. Bill Bowman leads Farmers with a dynamic spirit, captivating the listener while delivering anthem after anthem with h! is raw Vocals and crunchy clean Guitar work true to the South Bay Rock N' Roll Icon status he has attained from being in a grip of bands like Vida with George and Dez Cadena of BLACK FLAG. FARMERS are a special group that gives you a classic way of forging new ground musically. Their studio production, the "Hand Picked" CD, adds to their melting pot of genuine songs that touch the core of every type of ear, with memorable lyrics and hooks that take you down a musical journey to those places we all dream about... FARMERS New CD "Hand Picked", is filled with guitar driven original alternative to mainstream rock n' roll anthems. Several listeners have mentioned that "Bohemia" the 3rd track or "Only when I'm stoned" the 6th track, could be big hits. We add elements of various styles of music to several of our Rock N' Roll songs. Most of our songs, tracks 1, 2, 3 and 8, can be categorized as having a mainstream rock sound. Some songs we play like the 5th song "Tooty", sound like hard rockn' electric blues. Our New Music Video for "Tooty" is filled with eye candy, don't blink or you'll miss a few scenes. Songs like tracks 3 and 4 have a country/rock crossover feel to them. Tracks 6 and 7 are Hard Rockn'. The last four songs go off in four different musical directions: a rock n' roll waltz, a musical journey, a ballad and a building rock n' roll crescendo to end the CD. Some songs like "Only when I'm stoned" send out a pro-stoners' message. Song lyrics: "Only when I'm stoned do I understan! d the world and my place in it. Only when I'm stoned do I comprehend existence ..." Other songs tracks 4, 7 and 9 have marijuana references in them also. The songs on the "Hand Picked" CD were produced, engineered and recorded by Eddie Ashworth who helped bring the sounds of Sublime, Pennywise, Dio, Dokken, Great White and many others.
