Jermaine Brown aka "FACE DADA" was born in Jamaica West Indies on March of 1979 The son of the neighborhood d.j he was surrounded by all genre's of music Micheal Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, Jacob Miller, Super Cat and many others. Jermaine became known as "Face" at the age of eight. Where he resided in Queens with his sister and father. Face grew up listening to Rap legends such as LL Cool J and Run DMC. It was then that Face decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a music performer and producer. Hustling to make money to make his music aspirations come to life, Face had a few run ins with the law. This minor set back only held Face back for a short stint until luckily he linked up with Missy Elliot through introduction from a family member. Face introduction to Missy reignited his passion to make it big in the music business. Face was busy again, studio session after session with Missy and her associates started to open doors for young Jermaine until his first born was born which became the main priority and the biggest gift for Face. Once again, Face was forced to shelf his music project to cater to his daughter's early years and until a more opportune moment entered his life with music. As faith would have it, a few years later, Face hooked up with one of Missy's longtime produces that he had known from his previous affiliations with her. Known as Gary Lefkowith, and manager for super star and recording artist legend, Chubby Checker. Both Face and Gary got together on the same day, wrote and recorded a record and the rest is history. A few months later the record debutted on the Billboard charts at #16. Teamed with Chubby Checker, Face has managed to has performed for CBS EARLY Show, in New York, NBC TV and the Philadelphia Day Parade in Pennsylvania, Rock-nRoll Hall of Fame in Ohio and is currently touring with Chubby throughout the United States. Face has steped up his game as an entrepreneur with true performing skills. In addition, Face always find time to support his neighborhood. He is constantly featured on the hottest mix tape's out of NY, and cameos with neighborhood rappers and singer's from his main "hood" HARLEM, NYC. Face is also the co-founder and executive for "OD.FAM" - a Rap Duo he started with partner H.D. Together, Face and H.D. put together a list of reggae song's with up and coming producer Splash. Face continued his enterprising ways and started his new label dedicated to "his hood" called "MaryWanna Records" and focuses on assisting up and coming artists from Harlem and the rest of NYC. The first project "We Got that Doe Boy" pt.1 hit the streets Winter of 2007. By June 2008, Face made it back to the charts with Chubby with their latest hit "Knock Down the Walls" which is currently #24 on Billboard Top 100 singles. Face is now touring and working on his up coming untitled project with Michael Debarge, Jarid of PM dawn and David Ruffin Jr. You can see Face everyday on FaceDaDa.tv and YouTube where he is the first MC ever to produce and provide daily freestyles via a video blog.
