Extremum was recently selected to compete in the international online competition event known as iCHOOZ.tv. Each month a maximum of 10 bands are selected from up to 30 countries around the world to compete head-to-head in the Greatest Rock Band competitions.
Rock band competitions are judged by a panel consisting of Tim Kelley and Bob Robinson (10 time Grammy™ Award nominated and 2-time Grammy™ winning music producers with production credits including such artists as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopes and PapaRoach).
Bands must compete in weekly challenges by uploading their video performance. Fans must vote for their favorite bands by Mobile SMS messaging. We would like to inform you all, that we have just uploaded our newest single – “Awake from the dream” on our page. For those of you who know us well enough will immediatly notice this song is a bit different than most of our other stuff. The song is recorded with the help of the girl band “Strrings”, wich is the second project they have worked on together after “Bring back the past”.
10 Years Extremum
On 16.03.2008 Extremum celebrated their 10th birthday at ‘Backstage’ in Sofia. Many fans and friends of the band came to the party. In two sets, the band presented selected familiar songs as well as some new songs which will be included in their upcoming album for which recording start on April 6th. Special guests at the birthday party were the first lead singer and drummer of the band. Together with Extremum, they played three of their oldest songs. Also guests on the stage were the girls from ‘Strrings’ who performed, with Denny, acoustic versions of the songs ‘Bring Back the Past’ and their new joint project with Extremum, ‘Awake from the Dream’. Official presentation of the song will be coming shortly.

Extremum is recording a new album
The band is currently recording a new album in studio “Stain” Sofia. Eleven songs are being prepared in English, some of which will have Bulgarian versions. The musicians expect the finished project to be ready by the end of the year. As early as possible, Extremum will release their new single “Awake from the dream” The song is recorded with the help of the girl band “Strrings”, which is the second project they have worked on together after “Bring back the past”.
