Luckily independent hip hop artist H-Kiss is the definition of all of the above. Born to create and dominate today’s industry she is on the path to doing just that. Born Lateia Shamell Latham, H kiss was born in Lansing Michigan. She began writing music in 2005 while part of a hip hop group U.S.H. After the breakup of the independent group in 2009 she continued writing songs for herself and various other artists. She has written multiple hits including “Mad at Me”, “If I let you go”, and “Show Em” off upcoming project “All About Kiss”. Currently kiss continues to build a buzz locally and nationally. By doing many performances weekly, she continues gaining fans and attention. Although overnight success is not expected, hard work and continues progress is the key to building her empire.
