Coming from all different backgrounds the members create an eclectic atmosphere of old time ballads, new school indie rock, jam driven ambience and some sounds that don't even have adjectives yet. Evan writes songs with an atypical view of love, hate, life and the surroundings of an american youth. Charlie lays down a landscape of catchy riffs and burning solos that progress from funk to classic rock to techno and jazz. Randall is a classically trained cellist and simply put, the best bassist to ever assist a jam. Playing to small but receptive crowds have kept the band humble and hungry for more. Constant writing and exploration keep the shows fresh and exciting. Currently The Wisenheimers can be seen every Tuesday and most Saturdays at The Magic Bean Gallery and Coffee House(National and Grand in Springfield).
