Eric Deal has been a musician since 1978, playing his first gig at age 16 in 1980. His first real band came in 1981 and he hasn’t looked back since. Most of the bands/projects he’s been involved in were part-time jobs. But through the ’90’s on, he’s been steadily in bands that have lasted longer than his hair:) In ‘98, he was in a band called TCG (the Troy Castellano Group), which cut a Cd that was released in 1999. That Cd was very well recieved and sold well. After a 5 year retirement, he met up with Slick Weimer and formed A SLICK DEAL. Just after the studio tracking was complete on their upcoming debut Cd release, they disbanded. Eric took his music with him and has since re-written lyrics for 7 of the 10 songs on the Cd. The other 3 songs he already sang, which is what you are listening too on this page:D Eric is going back into the studio to re-sing the remaining songs some time in Feb/Mar ’09. This will be Eric’s FIRST attempt at writing/producing/singing lead vocals on an entire recording project.
