From the Lyrics, to the melodies, She has got it covered. Gospel singer/songwriter, Erica Ndao is breaking into the music world without Fear. Since the age of 8, Erica has had a powerful voice that demanded attention. As an aspiring R&B singer, Erica formed a group named unique with some of her elementary school friends. Erica grew up listening to music before her time, such as Blue Magic, Marvin Gaye, and so much more. Surrounded by music, it was inevitable that she would become some sort of singer, songwriter, and/or musician. At the age of 11, Erica gave her heart to the Lord, and then joined Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, overseer Bishop C.V.Russell, Jr., along with her family in Norfolk, Virginia. Erica recalls auditioning for a music group, and was told that she would be a gospel singer. Although she didnt believe it, God called her to be just that. Check her resume, Erica has written songs for aspiring Gospel singers and co-Wrote songs for Gospel rappers, such as Carla Mercer (A vow to keep) , Minister Pope ( Thug Life, We cant be stopped), Victory League (Spiritual dilemma), The Lords witness ( Make me clean, Special Christmas) and much more. This album is sure to bring conviction, and correction, and helps listeners to find the issue within themselves., and press towards their dreams. In the intro to the Liberated album, Erica writes Cooping through the traffic in my mind/Im/Trying to move forward/Im behind/I should be much further/so easily distracted/Time to get it together/I figured out the tactics/I must die daily/For theres no good in me/I cant keep compromising/blame it on the enemy. These lyrics help the listener to understand, sometimes we are our own enemy. We often hold ourselves back from achieving great things. The best thing to do is to be liberated from yourself, and move forward. This album is definitely worth every cent, and is sure to keep you rocking, all the while, giving God glory.
