Coming from the streets of New Orleans, Da NERD Yung ICE is the latest artist with a “PHRESH” attitude. Currently unsigned, she still continues to pursue her career with a force no one can stop. She started writing poetry at a very young age and as the years continued on she developed her skills and found a new way to express her passion through music. Music always played a big role in Yung Ice’s life but when she finally developed her music skills everything began to flow. Now singing was just for fun. She sung and sings at family events, outings with friends, but professionally she never attempting until her first talent show. She says, “The rush of the crowd and the feeling of being understood is the best feeling in the world.” After that music became her. Until… August 29th, 2005, Katrina ravaged and destroyed Yung Ice’s city. She watched her people, family and friends, die and be treated like animals, like refugees. The hope she had in her country and city died as she hiked off to Georgia, where she currently resides. She had lost everything from material to faith. But now… She’s on top her game, a freshman in college and majoring in civil engineering/physics, and ready for it all. Partnering with her cousin, Ace, Goon, Roun b.k.a. Da Thug Dymez to make the group, EPITOME, is on the verge of changing Hip Hop forever. -—————————————————————————

This New Orleans made kid, Da ROCSTAR Dymez is the phenomial new talent hitting the mic wit a style of "SWAGGA.” unfornately this kid is just putting hits on the computer hoping to one day make it out the hood an into the studio or into the WNBA. Dymez started playing ball at the age of 8 playing for teams: recreations centers (Harrell Park, Lyon Center), AAU teams (Louisiana Amazons, Louisiana Storm, Bayou Flames) and schools: (Walter L. Cohen, Rayne High and the Louisiana State University of Eunice). Dymez started writing music when attending Xavier University Prepatory. Then… August 29, 2005, devastating hurricane Katrina ruins her uptown New Orleans home and was forced to stay in Rayne. Now Dymez is residing in New Orleans once again. She says, “this experince was a lesson to awake eyes of people who took life for granted. Now instead of people looking upon us as refugees we are heros.” Today… You can catch Dymez earning a degree in sports managment or on the basketball court where she is trying to become the future Candace Parker or Lisa Leslie. Now teaming up with her cousin Ice to bring music to a different meaning the two are making music while also giving a new meaning to “SWAGGA” and “PHRESH.” You can find them hitting the mic together as the duo “Epitome” the phreshes studs in the game. Although they are young these young stars swagg is full grown.
