Enxcet (pronounced 'enks-set') was reformed in 2009 with Robert Williams, William Kroeker, and Keelan Donahue with the intention of creating a distinct sound that cannot be labeled with a single genre and to have fun while doing so. The music expresses a distinguishable melodic tone and cathartic expressions. The guitar (Robert Williams, Will Kroeker) is a combination of heavy riffs and emotional melodies, the drums (Keelan Donahue) are a fusion of technicality, and ingenuity, and the lyrics (Robert Williams, Keelan Donahue) reflect on the life experiences of them, coupled with the problems that society faces as a whole. In April of 2010, Jakob Head decided to join Enxcet as their bassist. However, shortly after, Will and Jakob switched positions in the band; Jakob on Guitar and Will on Bass. Enxcet plays nearly every genre covering softer alternative rock, to progressive metal/rock, to darker, more chaotic, death metal and most other genres in between while retaining a sound all their own.
