I’m coining a term, “Mediaocrity” That is what most music and video has become as we commence 2008. EnigmaOmega is forging a new path. Creativity has become synonymous with money. Anybody with ProTools and a digital video camera can call themselves an artist.

The world is thirsty for:

Refreshing, authentic, meaningful, Inspiring, Creative, emotional, moving, heart stirring, captivating, Beautiful, Breathtaking, Cinematic, original, Innovative, Unique, Enigmatic, mysterious, heavenly, brilliant, intriguing, different, dream-like, special, Imagination, extraordinary, not ordinary, not mundane, an experience, an encounter, fascinating, thought provoking, mind bending

These are words that capture our attention, but we continue to enable “artists” that exhibit none of these words

This Day and Age

We are in the apex of the age of Media: Video and Music. We want our lives to feel like a movie scene-Cinematic. And we want everyday to sound like a song. Our Hearts want to live in Art. There has been an explosion of uploading and downloading videos and music. We are looking for an experience, the perfect experience. We have formed a trinity, a triumvirate: Internet, Music, Video.

Video=Light-Music=Sound

Music and video are both spiritual, light and sound. We do our best to capture them on tapes and discs. This is the Digital Age, The Digital Millenium, technology. We project light and project sound, we see and hear. We transmit files into our eyes and ears, trying to capture something spiritual. We love the glow of beautiful colored pixels in a resolution of HD on LCD screens.

We are searching for something great in our infinite video posts and music uploads, looking for something soul-satisfying

Greatness vs. Mediocrity

Musical notes and video Images, we are made in the Image of a Creator, shouldn’t that beckon to us to produce Art on a God-level? We have allowed “mediaocrity” to infiltarte our Art and our Heart. We see the same sound alike band every night on the Tonight Show, scream for and applaud their generic sound, therefore sending the message “this is good, this is what we want, please keep making more” We are afraid of hurting artist’s feelings, so we don’t tell them the truth. We are afraid of hurting feelings, so they keep making music with no feeling. It is our destiny to manifest manifestoes that leave an imprint and indelible mark on the world and history.
