Empty Pocket Pictures is a no-budget digital cinema production company founded by John Goshorn. Before beginning a career in broadcast television, he studied Theatre at Washington and Lee University and earned a BS in Media Arts & Design with a Cinema Studies concentration at James Madison University.
“StakeOut,” his debut short film, was shot in July 2007 and completed post in September 2007. His second film, “The Promise Ring,” was shot in the fall of 2007 and completed post in January 2009.
John will commence work towards a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film in August 2009.
