Realilzing she had a vocal gift, her dad, a musician as well, wanted to record a keepsake with her, accompanying on his guitar. What started out as a single song being recorded in a studio, ended up being an EP of six cover songs that they were proud to release, highlighting her vocals, accompanied by a full band. She is now performing in the Richmond area as part of a blues/pop/Americana acoustic music duo with hopes of bringing a band together in the near future. You will enjoy listening to Emily if you enjoy listening to Alison Krauss, Grace Potter or Patti Griffin. Her set list includes anything from he Beatles to Red Hot Chili Peppers! Her hope is that she can make you smile, feel good and have a good time. She is looking forward to 2011 and the possibilities it will bring as she continues to make herself known in the area.
