Ellis began when Guitarist/Vocalist Matt Dalton met drummer Joel Silloway in 2008 and began collaborating several original ideas. Matt's lyrics and melodies continued to expand while Joel's percussive stylings allowed songs to really take shape. Throughout their career they've had members come and go, and explored a variety of genres, before coming up with they're own unique sound.
