I began playing the piano at age 6, but never took a serious interest in it until around Junior High. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. Wrote my first song at age 11. And picked up a guitar for the first time when I turned 18. Music has always been in me, and though I’ve learned through my studies how to read music, I do most of my composing and arranging by ear. It has to flow from within, not from a page of notes. I’ve also been able to pick up a lot of popular songs from listening to them. I am 22 now and have written just under 50 songs that I perform when and wherever possible. I write all my own lyrics, arrange and sing the vocal harmonies, and compose all the music on the piano.
