It takes hours of practice. It takes playing gigs for very little money and in places you just don't know about. It takes playing songs and styles that you might not like. We debated on many different things to put here. The bottom line is this. Anybody can put a band together. Making it work? That is entirely a different matter. It takes work. Hard work. It takes hours of practice. It takes playing gigs for very little money and in places you just don't know about. It takes playing songs and styles that you might not like. Occasionally, it takes time away from family. It takes not only arguing and making your point, but compromise and listening to others as they make their points as well. If you aren't willing to do these things, then music is not for you. We do all these things. We make these sacrifices. Why? It is the musician's life. We accept it. We embrace it. We live it. We are Electric Garage We have been doing this since August of 2008. We would get together, split, get together, split... you get the idea. Now, we are in for the long haul. Electric Garage is a cover band that puts our own unique twist on songs. Yes, we are a cover band. But the covers we do are far from boring. We feel that we give these songs a new life and an added edge. Don't believe that? Give Midnight Rider a listen. It was always a good song. Now, it is a good song with a new attitude. We have many influences from all genres of music and do our best to show those influences in the songs we play, the way we play them, and the shows we do. Basically, Electric Garage is picking up the torch and giving everybody, as our tagline says, a new take on an old tradition. This is a tradition we are proud to carry on for all our friends and heroes that came before us as well as those who will carry on after us. Electric Garage is a whole new ballgame. It's a good time. It's turn off all the lights, light some candles, make a drink, and relax. We thank you for coming and listening to the music. It will not only fuel the soul but set it free at the same time.
