Welcome to Ego land, the land of Dr. Feelgood and his dancing shoes. In a world so full of cloudiness and rain, a little bit of sunshine goes a long way. So whether you're feeling down and out, or just ready to drop that top and enjoy your day, we've got that magic music medicine of joyriders delight ordered up and ready serve. 2010 brings energy, fun and a brand new album. Eggshell's third album, Naked, is set to release in Spring 2010, their single "Take To The Sky" leads the way. With US shows lined up throughout the Summer, Eggshell is venturing out of the US and into Europe, so look out for your top down joyride, it'll take the stress of the day away! Fresh off of their 2009 HMMA nomination for “best original song in a film”, Eggshell continues to place songs in film, tv and video games. The most recent being the documentary “Raising Kate”. Kate takes a look into raising a child with autism, Whitton says “Kate is inspiring and represents how we should all be living our lives”. Eggshell Egoz was formed in 2001, the roots are the brainchild of vocalist Dave Whitton and guitarist David Walker, two ambitious artists with a knack for colorful, literature-style song writing. After the band's early experiments with cellos, saxophones, trumpets, and congas, they found bassist Dale Vix, drummer Jay Setar, metal-based rhythm guitarists Victor Delgado and Rodney Amieva. Billed with acts such as, Liz Phair, Gavin Rossdale (Institute), Killola, Raining Jane, Outlett, and Quincy Jones, the Egoz have played hundreds of amazing venues, festivals, and charities including Rose City Rocks, J Rockfest, NARM, Tide Fest, Charities for Cancer research, and the Rocker's for life. Their anthology of music consists of over 50 original songs with a few covers and can be heard on an abundance of radio stations, online and also in the soon to be released animated movie Trampoline. Eggshell Egoz can be contacted here or on any other digital distribution network including CDbaby, iTunes, Amazon, myspace and youtube. With strong but vulnerable vocals, critics love Eggshell's fusion of sound: "A group such as Eggshell Egoz could only have originated from California. This jumpy, infectiously giddy band marries the white funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppers with the singalong pop hooks of the Barenaked Ladies and the sun-baked lethargy of Sublime.", Carlos Redondo, World Where you live “Great Band Name, Really Like The Voice” Michael Laskow - Founder, President, and CEO of Taxi on 980 AM Breakin In Show "Great music, great lyrics, great fun", PCH radio show. "It is fun stuff, the kind of partying music you want blowing out of your speakers on a summer afternoon", Howie Mitchell, Fear of a Rap Planet "Rarely do eggs come in the form of sound, presence, and the unrivaled ability to charm the spirits of adoring fans." J James Speak EZ radio. "Eccletic, a painting for the ears", (Kelly Matfa, Music World) "Down home grooves that get you bobbin' and smiling while enveloping you with a feel good blanket" (Catsask Music and Entertainment) "Fun filled; cruise to the beach type of debut, slather on some lotion" (Ronald Gross, blogger news)
