Edvars

Art DECO @ Edvars (ArtDECO) is established in 1984 as a hobby project by Lene Edvars and Bjarke Gynther Edvars, who next to the project also provides as a couple.

The project is not a traditional band project or a project based on a trained background as musicians – it’s build on a great pleasure and interest in music, sound and equipment:-)

In general we don’t see it as compositions, we prefer to call it “sound paintings” (some times abstract :-)

Our works are primary from the period 1985 through to 1993, where the role of parents, own company (Marketing / import) and more has taken over – without loosing the joy of music, just pushed a little to the background :-)

The sound examples available here on our Ourstage profile was made in 1986 to 1990 on our little 4-track Tascam studio, which was later changed to a 5-track Akai.

The last 2 years is about to have some spare time, modern equipment is brought to our home (Soft synth’s, guitars, modules etc.) – so new “soundpaintings” will follow to the row of old “Vintage” numbers the next years – inspired of our life to day, old heroes and all the new exciting artist in the modern music who we also love, so please Continue the inspiration… you are all welcome to our world…
