Eatliz is “Israel’s alternative super group”, and is the first ever Israeli band to get the exclusive “MTV Artist Spot” which is broadcasted on high rotation in MTV europe stations.

Eatliz animation music videos “Hey” and “Attractive” and “”http://www.ourstage.com/tracks/IKNPSSHKGZNC-eatliz-lose-this-child" target="_blank">Lose this Child" stirred quite a buzz throughout the web, with million views and international awards, including the “Spike lee award” at Babelgum competition at the Tribeca Film Festival NY 2009.

Eatlis appeared in the Israeli indie scene in 2002 and has been playing a significant role in it ever since. Eatliz complex compositions and arrangements move between various musical arenas in a way which seems nearly impossible. Different songs feature influences of hard-rock, surf, punk, goth, power-pop and other genres; at times several of these turn up in a single song (!). As such a wide variety is hard to categorize, the band members will usually describe their music as “complicated pop”.

Eatliz made its first international appearance at Popkomm 2008. Since then the band has maintained a steady time of touring. In addition to their European and north american tours, Eatliz has most notably played Primavera sound festival in Spain and EXIT festival in Serbia, two of the largest music festivals in Europe, Canadian Music Week in Toronto, and SXSW in Austin, TX, one of the world’s largest music festivals. In the US and Israel the band has toured with Consider the Source (NY), and opened up for Porcupine Tree and ‘Zappa Plays Zappa’ in Israel. In 2012 the band will tour China, Japan and Europe.
