Band Bio and History The Dudes of Lord are an (Experimental/Fusion-Rock) band from Indianapolis, IN. The Dudes of Lord was a project created by (bassist) Brad Cummins after leaving the band No One Zero in the Fall of 2006. Cummins had an idea to create a project that was able to break the mold of any other local mainstream band. Originally, the band had taken on an earlier identity under the name Vagic Johnson & The Skeet Kidz (VJSK) The band was a (Jam-Fusion) hybrid idea that came together during an open mic night at a local Indianapolis dive bar. VJSK was then manned by Cummins on (Bass and Lead Vocals), and sometimes fronted by local (Rapper and Poet) Corey Ellis (aka) Randm. Now frontman for The Dudes of Lord & (Electro-House) DJ Omnifi - Mike Kashcak on (Keys & Synths), after deciding to have a side project from his band Kafiristan. No One Zero (drummer) Matt Holsclaw also accompanied the project later to be replaced by then (drummer) of Untrusting Sadie & Groove Component - Eddie Roodvoets after Holsclaw took on No One Zero full time. The Dudes of Lord's now (live sound engineer) Mike Gibson joined in on guitar as well as (guitarist/turntablist) Andy McDonald. Then as the open mic nights began to dissapate, the band took on the identity of The Dudes of Lord dubbed by their friend Eric Dockter one night during a House Party at Mike Gibson's. The band and everyone who first heard the name change all busted out in laughter and said yep, The Dudes of Lord. Let's run with it, said Cummins and began to hit the studio to write tracks in the Spring of 2007 with Kaschack, McDonald & Roodvoets at now Invent Fusion Studios. The band's original (sound egineer) Paul Sherfick's house. The Dudes of Lord took a two and half year hiedas when (original guitarist) Andy McDonald left the band to move to Berlin, Germany. The Dudes of Lord had replaced McDonald with their sound engineer in Spring of 2009, local Indianapolis band Groove Component's (guitarist) Paul Sherfick. Then started writing new material to unleash on the local Indianapolis music scene. Stepping on to their local music scene in the Spring of 2009, The Dudes of Lord have grabbed the attention of all who hear their music. Blending elements from their wide rage of influences. The Dudes of Lord create songs that elevate beyond the idea of style or genre. Their live show creates a total experience, giving life to an atmosphere all their own. Limitless in their possibilities as musicians The Dudes of Lord have also been business savvy and have created their own (Promotional and Recording Arts Label), Invent Fusion Entertainment LLC in the Fall of 2008. The Dudes of Lord have worked with many local and regional artists when hosting their live events.
