HIGH HEAT & CHIN MUSIC, a retrospective featuring cuts from the trio’s entire catalog as well as new tracks, is set for a May release.As house band for The Music Hall/NHPR live series “Writers On A New England Stage,” Dreadnaught has appeared with Alan Alda, John Updike, Dan Brown, and Mitch Albom, among others; the series continues on May 11 in Portsmouth with author Elmore Leonard. The group has also been featured in numerous projects for film, television, and most recently, performing the new theme music for NHPR’s radio program “The Exchange,” which was composed and produced by Dreadnaught bassist and “Writers” Music Director Bob Lord.
