Committed, discrete, self-confident, honest and free of every scene dictation: These dying attributes stand behind the music as well as behind the people of DOWNTIME. Since their foundation in 2004, the Kassel-based death metal band conesequently evolved and took every hurdle with ease.
During their numerous live shows (et al. with Illdisposed, Betzefer, Parkway Drive & Deadsoil) DOWNTIME fueled a massive amount of energy which not only unloads in their dynamic and congenial performance but also in their songwriting.
Discipline and professionalism “on the road” as well as in the studio reflect in the tracks, self-produced in their own DowntimeStudios. Press and audience are agreed: “DOWNTIME do not have rivals – DOWNTIME have witnesses.”
