Downbeat Switch are an aptly named Richmond, Virginia based rock band that was formed in 2002. After some lineup changes over the past few years, DbS have found their core group and honed their abilities and sound into a tightly knit, original phenomenon to call their own. The band's funk, rock, soul, pop, and reggae infusion helped them stand out within the local music scene. Using extensive instrumental vamping, dynamic male and female vocal harmonies and powerful piano and guitar driven riffs, Downbeat Switch were able to develop a large and diverse following. The band's front-woman, Jenna Be provides sultry, soulful vocals to compliment the band's unique sound.
