Update: I have recently been informed there are some song removal issues going on with this site so, if I can, I am removing all my songs until the problem is sorted out by OP and there are definite protection rules in effect… Good luck to everyone else with this too…

I’m an Indie songwriter though, I use the word “Indie” rather loosely as it’s changed meaning the last few years. I play guitar and sing, but I’m not a performing artist at heart. I just love creating music and songs.

I enjoy all types of music, but favor songs with a message and story I can relate to. Music has been a joy and passion all my life. It’s allowed me to share the company and stage with many great musicians and writers from all over the world. And, it just keeps getting better.

Music is a bit of a human oddity in a way. We can’t eat it, smell it, breathe it, or even wear it, but it’s everywhere and has been since the dawn of humans on earth. It’s a lot more than just a novelty of consequence to everyone.

Someone once said, “Noone knows if there’s music in Hell, but they can’t imagine Heaven without it!” It’s something we all associate with making life more enjoyable.

To me, music is about the SONG itself. Anyone can make noise and call it music. To make it memorable and lasting, it’s message is felt and shared by many.

The greatest measure of any song is how often it’s repeated by request, then heard to the last note. It’s sound helps it to be heard, but it’s message is what brought it back around to begin with. Give that some thought when listening to any song or artist here on ourstage.
