Born in Los Angeles California, Donnie has been entertaining since the age of 16 playing in bars as the lead singer, of a band called Madcap, in the South Bay Area. At that time he also got a good taste of Acting, when he landed the lead roll of Horace Vander gilder in the play, Hello Dolly at Leuzinger High School. Then at 18 He joined his brother Steve's band as a bass player and lead singer. They would play little gigs around town like parents without partners. they also landed a gig opening up for El Chicano. From there they went to Blythe California playing in bars such as Don Julian’s, and Charlie’s Chuck House in Ehrenberg Arizona. The group was called SORAPURU. In which Donnie would start his venture in righting songs. The group would play his songs and got great reviews. He left the band then later joined up with Eddie Mekka. Who played the character Carmine on Lavern & Shirley? They toured from California to New York. At one time Donnie was conductor and Bass player of the Band. Donnie and Eddie would later incorporate Abbot and Costello’s (Who's on First) into the show and got great reviews. Donnie playing Costello’s part and Eddie of course playing Abbot's. Donnie stopped his music playing for awhile, later to become a Bartender. The bar in which he bartended, had live bands every night. The bands would get Donnie up there to sing with them, and he was later known as the singing bartender. In which, one of those groups was called the Token's. Known for there hit song. (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) They told Donnie he was the honorary fifth Token. They told him they never let anyone else sit in with them. Donnie took that as a great honor. Donnie later became a Karaoke Host. He has done USO tours in Alaska and Germany. In Germany he entertain the Desert storm Troops. He later started his own Karaoke Business. He has entertained audiences with Comedy and Karaoke for 15 years from Hollywood, Universal City Walk, and the San Fernando Valley to Santa Clarita. Donnie is now concentrating on his song writing and Acting career again. He really enjoys working out, like swimming biking roller skating. He say's it's the bomb. Just doing thing's that are healthy and natural. Donnie is also a very Spiritual person. Love's God, love's Jesus, and love's life.
