Diversity. It’s a simple world that defines DJ Lucas Med. From Information Society to Pink Floyd in the 80’s, which was his first album, he has been collecting music since then. Lucas was born at the city of Goiania, GO - Brazil. Since little kid, he was influenced for innumerous music styles and rhythms. Goiania is well known in Brazil as Country Music Oasis, thus its electronic and alternative scene is very strong and people all over the country come to check its festivals and nightclubs. After years and years attending to RAVEs, Trance Festivals, Underground Parties, Lucas decided to start putting his entire music library to work. He started to produce CD’s for Cycling classes, mixing different styles from rock and to psytrance. People recognize his potential, and his Spinning classes got very popular in Goiania for its high energy/inspirational music. He decided to move on. In 2005, he started his career as a DJ playing in parties for his company (Athletics Sports). In December of the same year he got his first turntables and brought to Praia do Rosa –SC, a paradise in South coast of Brazil. The sunset parties at the resort was a blast. Once in San Francisco he got into House, Tech House, and Minimal. Since then these genres of music is his signature on the dance floor. He has played in different venues in the city and attended to innumerous music festivals, including twice at Burning Man, playing at “The Secret of The Stone Camp”. In this summer he has started his career as Music Producer at SSFU. This is DJ Lucas Med, a guy who always watching the best DJ’s in the world spinning to get the best and more variety music to you on the dance floor.
