I was born in Orlando, Florida and raised in a really small town out side of Gainesville and Ocala called Bronson. Most people have never even heard of Bronson...Lol...You probably wouldn't want to either. Throughout my life bieng the problem child I was, my parents shipped me off to live with other family members sometimes or just to visit them for the summer. Where I went was to Orlando, my other home. Orlando has had big influences in my life as far as helping me grow up in a different way other than being a cattle raising hillbilly. When I was 18 I finally moved from Bronson to really begin life, in Orlando. My cousin Drew wanted me to experience more than just the backwoods way and was very persistant in me going out to the clubs and such. I never really wanted to, I was kind of a homebody. Well I went out with him and his girl one night and that was it... a new me was born...Lol. What I used to think was crappy music and stupid clubs was all out the door. I had so much fun that night that I never wanted it to end. Eventually I got tired of just listening to the music. I wanted to spin it too, and I got my chance after to long when a buddy of my cousins had some turntables and let me loose on them. My first impression of spinning records was that it was a really easy task to do, playing 2 songs together at the same time, Whoopee doo, YEAH RIGHT! That shit was hard as hell to do, you really had to have an ear for that stuff, Fortunatly I do and after lots of train wrecks and beat massacres I finally started to get it. The mixes started sounding good and people started complimenting. I was litterally making decent mixes in about a 48 hours. My cousin was like "Wow man your really picking that up quick...not so stupid anymore eh?" No it wasn't. Ever since then I have really been into techno music... Actually Breakbeats which is music that has different bass lines, so as to not drive you crazy with repetitiveness. Anyways, lately I have been into making my own music and the songs on this page are a few of my very first trys at it. If anyone wants to leave comments on the songs, go for it, all comments are appreciated. I will be adding more songs as I finish baking what's in the oven.
Where are all the breakbeats at?
I have been looking through all the music in the catagories that suite my interest and I have come to the conclusion that hardly anybody on here makes Hardcore Breakz, Florida Breakz, Proggressive Breaks, etc…. so I guess I may just have to capitalize on that and be one of the very few on here who do make real(not hip-hop)Breakbeats!...Peace Out!

Posted by OperationRockstar on Aug 7, 2008 at 2:33 PM EDTAnd you're doing it. To keep the break beat alive is not hard we've used them on our songs off and on. Check out the track on our page corna' cuttin', and you'll see what I mean. It's a very hot track but, I couldn't hear any other beat behind it but the breakbeat that the producer used.

Posted by OperationRockstar on Aug 5, 2008 at 10:42 AM EDTIn response to the breakbeat blog. People have allowed music to change to much. A lot of folks don't feel they need a good breakbeat anymore. I personally love a good crisp breakbeat, there's nothing like it. Lets bring the breakbeat back!
