About Dial Down Man

Portrait of Dial Down Man

Dial Down Man is a Peruvian guy who moved to the U.S. a while ago pursuing a career in the music industry, he recorded his debut album “Transitioning” along 2008, in which, based on his musical influences and the need of defining a unique sound, he included different types of songs, from acoustic to electronic. Because of distance issues and a lack of band members he went back to Peru for one year and become sort of a multi-instrumentalist, recording pretty much all the album’s parts by himself, except for bass and drums which were recorded by Martin Silva (Drums) and Renato Flores (Bass) and some guitar arrangements by Gelvert Bardales (Co Producer). After the release of “Transitioning” in January 2009 Diego went back to the U.S for three months to promote the album. Now back in Peru, Diego, Martin and Renato have joined together again but this time as a band with new material which they have started to play at bars around Arequipa and soon they will get back to the studio to record some of the new project’s demos.
