Vicious D and LIL G are now D and G and their group is now DG2!!! Double Deuce, the name that started it all has been outgrown. A professional group with a polished sound and stage presence needs a moniker that suits them. They have chosen DG2 and it FITS!!!
These young men have done countless shows before packed clubs and small community gatherings. Performing on the same stages with the Clipse, Remy Ma, David Banner, just to name a few,have made DG2 more professional and not just another underground opening act!! When you see the best, you learn from them and you become even better. DG2 is BETTER!!!
Under the direction of the same management and producer,but adding new producers to help develop a sound that is their own, DG2 have dedicated themselves to producing quality music without degrading women, killing and shooting people (in their lyrics), drug references, or the usual negative imagery that has taken over the artform that they love.They feel that there is more than one road to HIP-HOP stardom and they have chosen the road less traveled.
With a common bond, losing their fathers at young ages, DG2 explored music together as a way to deal with tragedy and the realness of life in the inner-city. Hip Hop was their calling and the best vehicle to give voice to their feelings and nothing could stop them from using it! With so many great artists that they admire in hip hop naming their influences would be to long so they are students of all of HIP HOP and take pride in a craft that they have worked hard to perfect!
THEIR ENERGY IS UNSURPASSED, THEIR TENACITY IS UNMEASURABLE, THEIR LOVE FOR WHAT THEY DO IS INCREDIBLE!!! THEY WANT THE WHOLE WORLD TO HEAR WHAT THEIR BEST HAS TO OFFER.
SO IT IS OUR PLEASURE TO INTRODUCE TO SOME AND REINTRODUCE TO OTHERS................................
