Born March 29, 1982 in Raleigh NC this quiet and mild mannered singer/songwriter/producer has matured into one of the most hottest unheard of underground R&B/Soul singers around. Raised by his Grandmother and Mother, they encouraged him in his endeavors in music. He got his start singing in church. His grandmother told him that the first song that he ever sang was “Yes Jesus Loves Me”. It’s been up hill since there. He has always believed that God has given this gift to inspire couples to love each other more and to help single people find love. He has several years of musical training in piano from instructors like Mrs. Vernetta Harris and world wide renowned pianist Dr. Dangson Song. He has also had vocal training by Mr. Billy C. Hines and Dr. Amelia Harris Horne’. He also received a BS degree in Music from Elizabeth City State University. He was truly inspired by the man the myth and the legend the late great Gerald Levert. One of his fondest memories of him is when he met Mr. Levert 1995 in New Jersey at the ITT Sheraton at the New Jersey Meadowlands. He remembers singing “I Believe I Can Fly” for him in the hotel restaurant and Mr. Levert’s late brother Sean Levert joining in with him. He has always inspired to be as down to earth and cool as Mr. Levert was. He can also remember seeing him perform at the Walnut Creek ampatheater and can remember saying to himself, “That is the caliber of show that I want to put on”. By singing songs like School, Holla, and She’s Bad, he try’s to speak to relationship situations, and capture his audience’s imagination and soul. His music is passionate, sensual, soulful heartfelt, seductive, inspiring unique. It also has a jazzy flavor with an old school mixed with a new school flavor.
