Purely country, Desiree Dorion enlists strong vocals and an engaging presence to carry listeners through a landscape of passion, vulnerability and sass. Desiree's music has given her the opportunity to share stages with Charlie Major, Tom Jackson, Susan Aglukark, Rita Coolidge, George Canyon and Jake Matthews. In 2002, Desiree sang the theme song for the North American Indigenous Games which she performed at the Opening and Closing ceremonies. Desiree has fine tuned her vocals and her songwriting abilities. In songwriting, she has joined forces with Ray Martin, Arun Chaturvedi, Bart Dupas, Jade Turner and Chris Burke-Gaffney. The result is a sometimes sassy, tongue-in-cheek, heartfelt album, which was produced by Arun Chaturvedi and is affectionately entitled "Soul Back Jack." Desiree's songs take listeners on a journey of laughter, loss, remembrance and fun. Desiree's vocals are strong but sweet. Listeners will want to get to know this down-to-earth country girl.
