The present M.I based New-Age Hip-hop artist Deondrae Porter. ______________________________________________________ He wants to make people stop in their tracks, with his passion to become legendary says Deondrae. He may have gone a little bit out there musically on a few records, but this time he focused on the songwriting but mostly freestyles songs. It’s just the right time to connect with his fans. He just wants people to know, He is worthy. And of course he wants the ladies to know, he is what a gentleman is, same for the fellas. A smooth listening of New-age hip-hop should have music fans hurrying to want more and at the same time wanting to lock up their daughters, sisters, and/or moms. The first album “The Intern” is to make a difference and a name for him and is all infused with a catchy hook that’ll make you want to be yourself. And its danceable as well as creative. ______________________________________________________ Throughout the music, Deondrae expresses lyrics of love, passion, life and past struggles over addictive arrangements that alternate between New-age, Hip-hop and soul with a smooth and creativity approach with words. Jams like Hard but I’m Moving, I’m in and I Think That are some of his solo most focused and catchiest works to date and ironically his craft thus far. ______________________________________________________ I’m much creative and alot more on this album but I had no choice, laughs Deondrae. It’s been the hardest project to write/freestyle and the hardest to do, and it’s definitely has taken the longest yet. I’d be like, Hmm, are you sure there’s nothing else that needs to be said or done production wise and lyrical wise? Have I mastered every tip, trick and rule I know that can make this better? I’m a perfectionist he says. ______________________________________________________ Research and studying has served Deondrae well thus far on what to do and not to do. Coming with his debut album “The Intern” and projects in the making with lifelong friend Nelson "N.J" Johnson and a collaboration mix tape with “Stay up E.N.T” He’s labeled himself the profit with hardships, Deondrae struck the ears of local listeners and now he feels his time is no better than now to broaden his crowd. He seems to agree on one thing: creativity at being yourself shines. Even attending college part time plus a daughter residing in Canada, he says: It’s going to be really weird to see how people respond to what he’s doing being negative or positive. He is just being himself much as possible trying to try a bunch of new things to make one thing. It worked out with the message he is trying to get across, he says: I think I achieved delivering who I am and what I’ve been through with my music. ______________________________________________________ With several more songs yet to be done, he promises that his material will always stay positive and now Deondrae introduces his freshman album, the creative and original concept that will alarm the sleep with sounds of new-age hip-hop. The sound is much more different and much more creative this time out, the songwriting is now more complex but simple, and the records are more personal and edgy triggering those (who i'll call) his audience that likes what he produce as a whole with the help of "N.JAY", reviews and publicity comes with the work you put in no matter the product, delivering strong singles in Fiction or non-fictional form is what separates creativity and reality. More successful and prosperity, with Deondrae once again knows what needs to be said which is endless. ______________________________________________________ All is going steady, the past is the present and the present is the future. Deondrae has always understood you have to view the past to make up the future; this is what makes you original and different. ______________________________________________________ Look back and study with the focus of a priest Deondrae states dramatically. He doesn’t walk around with copies of his first mix tape (The Bubble vol. 1) or anything of that nature. He certainly isn’t into hatred or violence being the honest and patient person that he is, But was afraid who is to be trusted and who he can truly call a friend or foe (if any), girlfriend, partner etc. it’s a long process to make it in the music business, and Deondrae Porter knows patients and loyalty the best policy. Instead, I hope the new stuff has fans making comments like, wow! I like your music, and you are great at what you do and you’re creative with your music. ______________________________________________________ Deondrae says: I thank GOD everyday I wake up and I thank him for the talent he has given me to give to you, that’s not just the same old thing. There’s never any one set way that things has to be. I think he's proven that. He’s just doing what he is into & loves & lives. I always wanted to be in a part of something that makes me feel right at home with a great group of people or on the solo end of music with certain songs, where everybody shines. And is getting there, and one day he'll have the chance to achieve the greatness he so craves along with N.JAY. Overcoming childhood abuse, group homes and foster families, and countless failed relationships, friendships and much more hardships, Deondrae brings to you his life and his love of music and his creativity and creative approach with words to a hip beat.
