Like many singers, she came right out of the youth church choir. Singing solos for over 2,000 people on many a Sunday, which made stage fright not an option. At the age of 6 she held the title of "Best Actress" in the Miss America National Pageant in Florida. At the age of 10 she acquired a love for writing poetry, which led her to record her first song at the age of 15. Demi also spoke at many events as a motivational speaker for NBA legend Jalen Rose and Chicago AG high school. In high school she sang and won talent shows.By the time Demi was 16 she is a singer, songwriter, poet, actress, pageant winner, in two commercials, 6 plays and basketball player. This is why her grind never sleeps. Before she went to attend college at EIU in Charleston, IL. Demi Lobo is a positive young woman that is a great role model for the community, and women of all ages. Summer of her Sophomore year she went to New York city to compete in Americas Got talent and American idol. Also at Eastern she competed and ended second runner up in the Miss Black EIU Pageant. She decided to transfer to Columbia College Chicago. After performing at every talent show at Eastern Illinois University, Demi felt it was time for growth. Now radio Major at Columbia College Chicago. In just one year in Chicago she has performed twice on TV including BET and booked 75 show with just her and her manager. Demi is dedicated to everything she puts her mind to. In 2010 she plans to achieve all of her goals of becoming the next big Pop star in the World, while still touching the minds of people through radio.
