Reigning from Northwest Indiana, the Modern Rock/Punk outfit known as DEAR NOEL is really making a name for itself in the midwest. Comprised of five core members, 25 year old Josh Drake(vocals/guitars), 27 year old Josh Silveus (bass/vocals), 25 year old Jason Lewis(guitars/vocals), 23 year old Kyle Carpenter (keyboards), and 27 year old RC Tellez (drums) compare themselves to the likes of Alkaline Trio, Jimmy Eat World, Anberlin, and Green Day. Starting in the summer of 2005, Dear Noel gained listeners as a one man acoustic act made solely by Josh Drake. In 2006 it became a duo with the addition of Jason Lewis. While making their first EP "Hope You Get To Heaven Before The Devil Knows You're Dead" in the Spring of 2007 with new member Josh Silveus (formerly of the mildly successful 'The Honour Recital'), Dear Noel along with producer Marc McCluskey decided to make the transition over to the electric world, and shortly after added longtime friend Kyle Carpenter. After a series of member changes, Dear Noel added RC Tellez (known for helping form what would later be 'The White Tie Affair') after the release of their second EP "Party Fouls" in July of 2009. The band decided to take some time off the following Winter to write and develop the newer direction they were taking. January of 2010 marks the reemergence of Dear Noel to eagerly awaiting ears. During the course of five years Dear Noel has a lot to be proud of. Having shared the stage with numerous known bands including The White Tie Affair (Epic Records), Every Avenue (Fearless Records), Hit The Lights (Triple Crown Records), AM Taxi (Virgin Records), Bayside (Victory Records), The Ataris, and Brian Vander Ark of The Verve Pipe, Dear Noel has made tracks all over the Midwest and the East Coast. The band has become a common name in the city of Chicago with the help from Radio Stations Q101, 93XRT, and internet radio station Fearless Radio continuously supporting and backing the band. Dear Noel has also appeared in numerous newspapers and Midwest 'Zines like the NWI Entertainer, and even the critically acclaimed AP Magazine (January '09 issue). They've even been positively reviewed on absolutepunk.net to help build their buzz. Armed with an arsenal of new songs and obtaining the help and guidance of Sean Roberts (ex-A&R representative for TVT Records) owner of Juggernaut Management, Dear Noel plans on releasing their third EP in the Spring of 2010. It will be supported with some good, old-fashioned D.I.Y touring and promoting. With a strong focus on a rarely seen style of fan interaction, 2010 is truly the year Dear Noel will be in our thoughts, heart, and stereos. Contact Information: sean@juggernautmgmt.com
