David Waldman
David Waldman is an unsigned Singer/Songwriter/Arranger/Performer with more than 135 original songs filed with US Copyright Office. David writes and arranges songs for profit and non-profit organizations and enjoys collaborating on musical projects. Use of one of his latest songs, “A-Cast We Be” was purchased for use by the Van Buren Street Theatre’s (Bay City, MI) current production of “The Pirate’s Convention” which was held over for additional performances due to popularity. Another of his songs, “The Opportunity Center” is used by a non-profit business that promotes the recovery of individuals with mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
A musical youth spent frequenting N.Y.‘s Greenwich Village’s Circle in Washington Square, Bitter End Coffeehouse, listening to WBAI independent radio, David has deep roots in American & British Rock, International Folk, Broadway, Eastern European Klezmer, Clazzical, Southern Gospel, and Humor/Parody. Constant Writing/Arranging for pleasure and purpose, and profit, years of vocal and keyboard/bass performances. Always looking for new musical challenges and music business contacts, David has a good feel for the serious as well as the comic. His Muse rarely fails him. He’s reaching out to indie movie producers, theatrical producers, and publishers in his current goals, respectively, of scoring a movie, a musical theater production, or having his songs placed with nationally prominent successful singers.
