David Jon Hartmann grew up in Tirana, Albania as a missionary kid until the age of 18 when he came back to study music at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He has always loved and been involved in music since his parents are both very musical. He started playing guitar at the age of 14 and writing songs at the age of 15.
