Dave Ritz’s musical interests started at an early age. Influenced by his parent’s choice of music, particularly his father’s, Dave began playing piano in the second grade. “I started to play Billy Joel, Elton John, Sting, and well, anything that was on the radio at the time.” Now, years later, Dave’s current influences consist of Tom Petty, Rob Thomas, the Dave Matthews Band, and many more.
With his quickly growing audience and strong crowd response, Dave went on his first tour across the Midwest and East coast while still in high school. It was then that Dave learned how life on the road works. "I learned how to pack, how to travel, and how to interact with the crowds. It was a great experience,” Dave explains.
After many years of successful touring with a team of some of the most talented musicians in the business, Dave’s music continues to breed success.
Dave has had the opportunity to play with bands like OAR, Howie Day, G Love, Guster, The Goo Goo Dolls, Ryan Cabrera, Tony Lucca and many others. He has been playing at House Of Blues & Hard Rock Café’s all across the US. Dave also has graced the stage at South by Southwest & other popular music festivals.
Dave is currently in the the process of moving out to Las Vegas to play on the strip at such places as Planet Hollywood, NYNY and O’Shea’s. Look for Dave on your next visit to Sin City!
