Having achieved minor success via the internet, Daniel Strider, hailing from Orange County New York, has been compared to such acts as Hellogoodbye, and newcomer Owl City. But at the same time, he has still managed to become recognizable in his own right. His accomplishments match those of many of the major acts from today, such as being featured on well known radio stations, signing with EMI and Gracie Productions and currently holding a top artist position in each of his selected genres on MySpace music. However, his most proud contribution includes working with the non-profit organization 'Invisible Children' where he helps spread awareness to the troubles going on in Africa.
He writes, produces, and records everything on his own in a home studio and derives his inspiration from everyday life. 100.7 WHUD's own Catherine Michaels describes his music as, "Exquisite and insightful!” and “Anything but ordinary!"
On his off time, Daniel enjoys writing works of fiction and getting better acquainted with his established fan base. Though the field he has chosen is often a complicated and demanding one, he vows never to give up and hopes to do more than just glisten among all the others.
