Big news to share in this post. OurStage is officially an iPhone application.

This is really great for you. The iPhone and related products accounted for 40% of Apple’s revenue last quarter. That means there are lot of hungry music who will check out OurStage radio, check out OurStage and check out you.

Before I detail the features, I want to give some props to OurStager Shannon Haley whose album art graces our iPhone application description.

Here is a quick rundown of the features:
1. Log in as you. We can authenticate you from the iPhone application, so that recommendations you get are the same as the recommendations you’d get on OurStage.

2. Play Your Favorites. Make sure you get your fans to favorite your songs on OurStage. That way they can take you everywhere their iPhone goes.

3. Discover the best of the best. We post the top 50 songs in each music channel. So that means—do your best and if you’re in the top 50, you show ‘em all that you’ve made it (to the discover list that is).

Of course, OurStage Radio will run on your iPod Touch as well if you’re on WiFi. If you’re not sure what that means, try using OurStage radio on your iPod Touch, and if you can, you’re on WiFi.

What can you do to get noticed here?

Simple stuff really.

1. Make a profile with your best thumbnail image—make it stand out, be cool, be unique , don’t use fuzzy images. Try to avoid snapshots at all costs.

2. Make sure you have a bio. If you don’t, add one ASAP.

3. Get all your fans to favorite your tunes on OurStage. Please do this folks. It really helps you out and I want new TOP 5 favorited songs on OurStage.

4. Tell everybody you know about the OurStage Radio App. for the iPhone—and download it of course.

5. Give the OurStage Radio App. a FIVE STAR review. Well, only if you feel that way. I mean, I ask you to be honest about your tastes all the time, why should I (or we) get a special exception.

6. Check reviews and make sure you tell Apple which ones you found helpful—hopefully those will be the highest starred.
