Context 2: itunes, rhapsody, amazonmp3 and emusic:
I was Born in Mandeville, Jamaica. Grew up throughout Christiana, Westmoreland, Mandeville and Bellefield. Immigrated to the States in 1997 and now reside in Sharon Hill, Pa. Predominantly listened to reggae, growing up (Buju Bantan, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Beres Hammonds, etc). It wasn’t until my teenage years, I started listening to hip-hop (Biggie, Nas, Busta, Wu-tang, Mobbdeep, Mos. Def., Company Flow, Aesop Rock, etc..). Became addicted, listening to and studying classics (Illmatic, Superme Clientel, Populaion Control, Blackstar, Labor Days, etc..).
By chance I met Bass, who was spinning on his brother’s Eugene’s (R.I.P.) turntables for the hell of it. I would usually freestyle to beats wasted, but never took it serious enough to write. Not untill we started to record our freestyle sessions; when my co-workers heard them and wanted copies. From then on Bass and I focused our combined efforts to form Bigheads and six years (trials, errors and life’s tribulations) in the making released Subway Theory. Subway Theory was produced by Bass and Sponge with Lynx and Bass also on vocals. Bigheads, have performed in New York, Philadelphia, Jamaica and Poland.
Since the release of Subway Theory, I have released Context (the mix-tape) and now Context 2 (available on Itunes, Amazonmp3, Rhapsody and Emusic). I’m currently working on a new project, also on John Morrison’s and Bass new projects: all untitled for now (look out for those). I listen to music from which I can gain, respect and I offer the same to my listeners. Take the time and if you like what you’re hearing, support is love and I could use a lot of love in this recession or depression we in.
Spread the word: Put 3 of your friends onto this:)
